Derek Jeter is the shortstop for the N.Y. Yankees. His book The Life You Imagine: Life Lessons for Achieving Your Dreams (with Jack Curry) reflects the lessons he learned during his baseball career and regular life. I've never been a fan of baseball, but I found the anecdotes on baseball interesting.

I found it inspiring that, at 8 years old, Derek Jeter had a passion which would be the driving force of his life: "To be a shortstop for the Yankees." The idea that we can live the life that we dream by following our passion is quite motivational as are the other lessons in the book. To quote from the book again, "You have to make sure that you don't treat your dreams like they are only dreams. You have to feel that they can become realities, too, or you will never think it's possible to attain them."
